Day one
Our first Mansfield HOF inductee is Grant Certuse (Golf, Class of 2008).4-Time Hockomock All-Star, Sun Chronicle All-Star, Team MVP and Captain, Led Team to 2 League Titles, 2007 Champion in League Tourney and Competed for Div. 1 Bryant University on collegiate level! Our 2nd Mansfield HOF Inductee is Cindy Conquest (Volleyball, Class of 2006). Team Captain and MVP as well as Hockomock League and Sun Chronicle All-Star. Led Team to back-to-back state tourneys and Div. 2 Quarterfinals! Competed in UVM Club Program and coached Volleyball at MHS! Day two
Our 3rd Mansfield HOF Inductee is Paul Souza (Track & Field, Class of 1979).Record holder in High Jump; MHS (6'10") and Penn State (7'4.5"). Hockomock, Sun Chronicle, Boston Globe & Herald All-Star! State Champ in High Jump and Coached Wheaton to 8 National Championships in Track! Our 4th Mansfield HOF Inductee is Meghan (Ferreira) Grimshaw (Track & Field, Class of 2009. Boston Globe, Herald and Brockton All-Scholastic! Team and League MVP! MHS School Records in 50 and 100 Hurdles! 5-Time Individual State Champion who competed collegiately at Harvard! |
Day three
Our 5th HOF Inductee is Maddy (Gambale) Kuzinski (Gymnastics, Class of 2006).Hockomock League and Sun Chronicle All-Star for 4 Years, Team Captain, 2nd and 3rd Place Finishes at All Division State Meet on Beam and Member of AAU Junior Olympic Team that traveled to New Orleans! Our 6th MHS HOF Inductee is Jimmy Connors (Wrestling/Football, Class of 2005). Hockomock and Sun Chronicle All-Star, League MVP. Boston Globe All-Scholastic, 37-0 Senior year! Won Mansfield's First Ever All-Divisional State Title. Team Captain who competed at Boston University. In Football, Jimmy was also a Hockomock and Sun Chronicle All-Star as an offensive and defensive lineman as well as earning Brockton Enterprise All-Scholastic Honors. He started on the 2003 and 2004 State Title Teams for the Hornets that won 25 games in a row over 2 seasons! Day four
Our 7th MHS Hall of Fame inductee is Matt Souza (Swim & Dive, Class of 2010)Hockomock & Sun Chronicle All-Star, Team MVP & Captain and led his team to league title in 2009! MHS Records in 200 Free & 400 Medley and competed collegiately for Hartwick College in NY. Congrats! Our 8th MHS Hall of Fame Inductee is Rosemarie Aldo (Swim & Dive, Class of 2012)! Hockomock & Sun Chronicle All-Star, Team MVP & Captain and led her team to league title in 2012! MHS School Records in 200 Free & 200/400 Free Relays and competed collegiately for Mt Union (OH)! |
Day five
Our 9th MHS Hall of Fame Inductee is Ron Gentili (Baseball, Class of 1962). Previously inducted for football/basketball, Ron is MHS's first 3-sport Male Inductee! Team MVP & Captain, Hockomock All-Star, MVP of American Legion Team! 31-3 Record as pitcher & career batting .380! Our 10th MHS Hall of Fame Inductee is B.J. Sparrow (Softball, Class of 1989)! Previously inducted for basketball/field hockey, B.J. is MHS's 1st Female 3-sport Inductee! Hock & Sun Chronicle All-Star, Team MVP & Captain, 4-yr Varsity Player in 3 sports who also coached at MHS! Day six
Our 11th MHS Hall of Fame Inductee is Bob Morrison (Men's Tennis, Class of 1983)!Two-Time Team MVP and Two-Time Team Captain! Hockomock League & Sun Chronicle All-Star! Bob helped lead his Hornet team to the Hockomock League Title in his senior year in 1983! Our 12th MHS Hall of Fame Inductee is Diane (Liberatore) Jackson (Tennis/Basketball, Class of 1961) Played #1 Singles and led team to a Hockomock League Title in 1961 as Team Captain! At Salve Regina, played #1 Singles, was a team Captain and inducted into Salve Regina HOF! In basketball, Diane played 4 years of Varsity Basketball at MHS and served as team captain! At Salve, played 4 years of college basketball & captain during junior and senior year! Voted top athlete at Salve Regina during her senior year by her peers! And "Coach Jackson" will also be inducted into the MHS Hall of Fame this spring for her outstanding coaching career in Women's Tennis from 1980 to 2005 with 4 League Titles and many State Tourney Appearances! The first MHS Alum to be inducted as an Athlete (2 sports) and a Coach! |
Day seven
Our 13th MHS Hall of Fame Inductees is Patrick Hill (Lacrosse, Class of 2002).Team Captain for 3 years, and Team MVP! Hockomock, Sun Chronicle & Eastern MA All-Star! Led Team in Scoring for 4 years at MHS then competed collegiately for Providence College. Our 14th MHS Hall of Fame Inductee is Kathryn (Campbell) O'Reilly (Lacrosse, Basketball, Class of 2011) MHS Team Captain and Team and Hockomock League MVP! Hockomock & Sun Chronicle All-Star! Competed at Univ of New Haven where she was Team MVP and received All-American Honors! In Basketball at MHS, Team Captain and Hockomock League & Sun Chronicle All-Star! Led Team to MHS Basketball's first Hockomock League Title and program best record of 24-2! Earned back-to-back trips to the TD Garden for Div. 1 State Semi-Finals in her junior and senior year! Day eight
Our 15th MHS Hall of Fame Inductee is Brendan Carroll (Hockey, Class of 2009)Team MVP & Captain his Senior Year! Hockomock League & Sun Chronicle All-Star for 3 years and led the league in scoring his senior year! Led team to #2 seed in State Tourney his Senior Year. Our 16th MHS Hall of Fame Inductee is Paige Harrington (Hockey, Class of 2011) Played for MHS Boy's Varsity Team & competed for UMASS-Amherst and selected as Team Captain & earned All-American Honors!
